Melania Trump Threatens Legal Action Against Hunter Biden for $1 Billion Over Epstein Claim

Melania Trump legal action Hunter Biden

Melania Trump has threatened to file a lawsuit against Hunter Biden for over $1 billion in damages, following claims made by Biden that she was introduced to her husband, Donald Trump, by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, made these remarks during an interview earlier this month, where he discussed the links between Trump and Epstein. In response, Melania Trump’s legal team has issued a letter demanding that Biden retract his statement and apologize or face legal consequences. The letter describes the claim as “false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory,” accusing Biden of attempting to attract attention by repeating the allegation.

The legal threat comes amid Biden’s ongoing criticism of Trump’s ties to Epstein. While Trump has admitted to being friends with Epstein, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing and has said that he fell out with Epstein in the early 2000s after the financier allegedly poached staff from Trump’s Florida golf club.

Biden’s comment that Epstein introduced Melania to Trump was largely based on an article by journalist Michael Wolff. However, there is no evidence to support the claim that Epstein played a role in the couple’s introduction. The First Lady’s legal team points to the absence of any proof and the retraction of a similar claim by the Daily Beast, which originally published a story based on Wolff’s narrative.

In the letter, Melania’s lawyers argue that the false claim has caused her significant financial and reputational harm. They accuse Hunter Biden of exploiting the names of others for personal gain. The First Lady’s lawyers have demanded that Biden take immediate steps to retract the statements and issue an apology.

This legal move comes as Hunter Biden’s comments about the Epstein connection have sparked broader questions regarding the US President’s ties to Epstein, a financier who took his own life in 2019 while awaiting trial. Although the White House has remained silent on the matter, the ongoing investigation into Epstein’s network and his connections continues to be a sensitive issue in American politics.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUyPk3pUVWc
